The exodus out of Big D may have already begun.
Suffering through a horrible season — the Stars are 10 points out of a playoff spot and in second last place in the Central Division — Dallas has reportedly unloaded surprise goal scorer Patrick Eaves to Anaheim for a conditional 2017 second round draft pick.

Eaves, who is in his 12th season, already has a career high 21 goals (tying him for the team lead with Tyler Seguin), along with 16 assists in 59 games. His previous high in goals was 20 in 58 games for the Ottawa Senators in 2005-06. The conditions of the draft pick going to Dallas are outlined in the following tweet by Sportsnet’s Chris Johnston.
