Back in April, Washington Redskins linebacker Junior Galette was arrested in Biloxi, Mississippi under suspicion of disorderly conduct and failure to comply with police officers. According to the police report, Galette was seen assaulting a man and attempted to flee the scene when officers tried to intervene.
He was subdued after officers used a taser. This week, police released the chest cam footage of the altercation.

Galette, wearing a No. 23 Michael Jordan jersey, is running down a sidewalk while officers warn him they will use a taser if he doesn’t stop. After being put in restraints, he can be seen saying “I’ve got a lot to lose.”
Galette was charged with disorderly conduct, but stuck a plea deal with local prosecutors. He has played in eight games for the Redskins this season, recording a single sack and seven tackles. He missed the entire 2015 and 2016 seasons through injury.
It wasn’t Galette’s first brush with the law. He was charged with domestic violence in 2015 after he allegedly attacked a woman who demanded cab money from him, although those charges were ultimately dropped. In 2013 there was an incident where Galette appeared to use a belt as a weapon during a fight on Miami Beach. That incident was caught on camera, but charges were not filed against the now 29-year-old football pro.
