The free agency shopping period is mere hours away, but that hasn’t stopped teams and source announcing imminent or already done deals.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapaport, the Cleveland Browns are signing free agent wide receiver Kenny Britt to a four-year, $32 million contract, with $17 million guaranteed.

In another likely move, the Chicago Bears are expected to sign free agent QB Mike Glennon to a three-year, $14.5 million pact when free agency opens later Thursday, again according to Rapaport.

Britt, who played with the Rams the last three years, is coming off his best season in his eight-year career, snaring 68 passes for 1,002 yards and five touchdowns. The Browns still have the money to re-sign Terrelle Pryor, but after inking Britt, they may opt to let the Pryor walk.

In Chicago, the need for a quarterback is great, and in Glennon they get a raw talent who hasn’t done a whole lot since playing in 13 games in 2013. It’s likely he’s a bridge to the next franchise QB (which the Bears could still draft this year).
