It seems like the Chicago Cubs have been the bookie favorites all season to take home the Fall Classic, but after falling behind two games to one in their NLCS against the Dodgers, things have changed.
Newly released odds have the Dodgers as the slight favorites, with 7-to-4 odds of winning the World Series. The Cleveland Indians, who are currently up 3-1 on the Toronto Blue Jays in the ALCS, also squeaked past the Cubs to post 9-to-5 odds. Chicago still has a strong chance though, coming in at 9-to-4.
The Blue Jays, who looked strong while winning the American League Wild Card game and then sweeping the Texas Rangers in the ALDS before falling into a big hole against Cleveland, understandably have the worst odds out of the four teams remaining. They are 10-to-1 underdogs to win their third World Series in franchise history.
The ALCS could end today, as the Indians and Blue Jays will play Game Five in Toronto. The NLCS also resumes tonight with Game Four in L.A.
