Charlie Sheen Gathers His “Wild Thing” Gear in Effort To Save the World Series For Cleveland

The Cleveland Indians were in firm control of the World Series just a few days ago, owning a commanding 3-1 series lead. However, the Chicago Cubs, baseball’s best team in the regular season, have clawed their way back to force a Game 7.

The Indians will once again be relying on the pitching of Corey Kluber, who previously won Games 1 and 4 for the Tribe. But if that’s not enough, another famous Indians pitcher from the past is coming to offer his help.

Ricky “Wild Thing” Vaughn, the erratic fireballer from the movie Major League, is on his way to Cleveland. According to the official Twitter account of Charlie Sheen, the actor who played Vaughn in the first two Major League films, Ricky Vaughn himself will be making an appearance.

You can see that Sheen has packed Ricky’s trademark glasses and Jobu voodoo doll, along with some snacks his Indians ball cap. There was a social media campaign to have Sheen throw out a first pitch at one of the World Series games, dressed as Vaughn. Sheen was fully on board, but the team apparently hates fun and didn’t make it happen.
